Once the border crossing, we continue our road to San Javier. We take a collectivo which cost us 30 pesos per person for travel between the border and San Javier. San Javier, we must walk a 3km to get to the place where you can take a transport to Bonampak.

We choose to leave our bags at a hostel and camping in front of the taxi union. We therefore leave our bags back there and we look for a taxi to the ruins. No negotiation, it is a cooperative and all are the same price. We take the taxi. It's very expensive (70 pesos per person round trip). We take up the entrance to the site is 41 pesos pp. Groups organized tours arrive at the same time as us. We look at the time, they forgot to change it, we have 1 hour more here than on the Mexican side of Guatemala.

We therefore 1:30 to tour the site before the closing. In fact, there is a building, the peculiarity of this site is the "hall of paintings". Some paintings are well preserved and very interesting. The visit is short and, subsequently, we return to install the tent. We are preparing a dinner, we're hungry, because we have not eaten the day.

The campsite cost us 30 pesos pp and the location is very interesting. We are tired of this long day, sleep comes quickly despite the heat.
