RIDE CUSTOM MOVEMENT EMERGING.

Need individuality or necessitated by lack of funds, the custom bike increasingly take place in the world of cycling. The reasons for its presence are manifold, but logical. With the high costs of having a car "toy", some people simply can not afford this kind of hobby. For cons, the bike is once again offering the opportunity of this moved so original at very low cost.

Often the main need of a custom bike enthusiast is to build the machine itself. The tools and pieces being affordable, the possibilities are almost limitless. Besides the fact that not needing to register or provide called modified bike, it implies no restrictions on modifications that might be condemned by an inspection zeal! Imagination has no limits, it is good enough to work to achieve the goal. The extreme example of this kind of bike are Eric Hannan Choppers Boucherville. These bikes are an ultimate expression of human-powered. They often attract more attention than their motorized portion cons when parked side by side. I am a witness!

From the extreme of Hannan Choppers, through the Lowriders and Beach Cruiser well polished, the other side of the coin is represented by the Rat Bike. These bikes focus on the importance to ride in comfort and finish the job when the time and parts permit. The aesthetic quality is not an absolute value in this case, it may show up later or never.

Here in America, the movement of custom bike begins to know its boom in the USA in recent years. In Canada the movement is healthy on the West Coast but seems to fly the kite on the East Coast. What is surprising is the force that knows the movement in Europe. Although access to American cycling vintage is almost nonexistent, clubs and custom bikes are increasing and there seems to be no slowdown in sight. According to my information, sales of bicycles Felt and Electra (to name a few) are in top form in Europe. Have a look on Custom Brigade to see what I mean. :)

I sincerely believe that the chance to ride a bike customized inexpensively to express his individuality will be that the movement will only grow. For people in the Montreal area who would come together, leave me a note at: xddorox (a) gmail.com There are several custom bike fans in Montreal and it would be pretty cool to ride Overall, do things and why not a show!
