Monday, May 17, 2010 Mayan ruins of Uxmal
the morning, we take the first bus from Campeche to Uxmal 85 pesos per person while the path Campeche Merida is 98 pesos! We arrive on site at 9:30. We pay our entry of 116 pesos per person (not given) to be entitled to enjoy the site (the ticket includes the show, sound and light in the evening). We leave our bags on consignment (luckily included with entry) and we're going to explore the site. As the journey ends, we do not look too much expense and will visit different sites, for cons, if the trip continued for several weeks, we would have made choices. The site of Uxmal is a very interesting sites in Mexico.

As it is still early ( and perhaps because it is Monday), we are quiet on the site.
we discuss details of the friezes that are pretty good and plentiful. We pass a few groups output of our site and the sellers are now all well established and we offer souvenirs for the stepmother to $ 1.
We take our bags and go wait on the road a bus to Merida. The bus cost us 50 pesos per person. We're in a bus as second class this morning and have air conditioning which is well appreciated.
