Departure the morning of Merida, we take the first bus to Chichen Itza (66 pesos pp 120km). We arrive on site at 9:00, and contrary to what we expected, the site is quiet and only the many vendors who are settled there, but they are not too distracting, they must wait for the groups. It is moving away from 116 pesos per person for the site entrance.

Like most blogs, we almost always see the great pyramid and little details, expected at a site a little uncomfortable living only for the many tourists in Cancun. Nope, the site is interesting and full details. We even abandon the bankrupt, after the many other Mayan sites visited.

Since we do not expected much, we were pleasantly surprised. We were even able to enjoy it almost alone. It is a shame that sites are accessible only from a distance. Unable to climb the pyramids and also impossible to see certain details (like the miles columns), more closely.

We understood why our output, tons of good bus was filled with their input, we rarely saw. A real walkabout to successfully exit the site.

Thereafter, we waited for the bus wisely Oriente (ADO cheaper) and we took our ticket to Cancun 114 pesos (still!) For the remaining 200km.
