the morning we woke up early. The ants were very greedy and attacked us well during the night. Put away the tent, we rebuilt our bags and it arrives just in time to catch the only bus of the day as it passes through the village. It is 6h00am and the bus request 70 pp pesos to get to Palenque a trip of 150km.

Once there, we look for a room. We found one at 100 pesos for two. We buy a 20 liters of water we drink in two days, he's so hot! Then we'll taste the tacos made in the street. Palenque is a city that seems to accommodate many tourists, both Mexican and foreign. We are surprised that prices are displayed for a lot of things it's nice to feel that it is the same price for everyone.

the morning, we take a collectivo for the ruins of Palenque. The collectivo costs 10 pesos pp. We have to pay an initial entry to the park at 25 pesos pp. Then we expect the site opened at 8:00 am and pay our entrance to 51 pesos pp including the museum. There is a price for the video cameras of 41 pesos extra, but we are not asking for anything so we do not question. (We think they watch more people in group).

Palenque

We learn that today, Sunday is free for Mexicans! We are surprised by the number of sellers who move. Between the ruins along the trail, there are dozens and dozens of vendors who sell more or less the same thing. The site is nice and pretty. There are some interesting details. Then we go to the museum, again there are plenty of small stuff. It is very strange for them to do against an entire movie with a replica of a tomb. He is in a temperature-controlled room with maximum number of people who are entitled to enter at a time ... and all that, for a reply!?!

Subsequently, we take a transport to 10 pesos back to town. There is something to eat. No doubt, the food more flavor in Guatemala. We'll see Transport for Ocosingo. Whether or collectivos with a first class bus is the same price! We find it very strange and one wonders if someone tries to rip us off ... Anyway, for the same price, we will take the bus with AC tomorrow morning.
