How To Keep Snakes Out Of My Garden

The Sandbox Louis

Louis received his grandparents a nifty module with swings and a slide. We decided to install it in a sandbox for security. Voicil'emplacement we chose to install, view of the dryer and the kitchen garden:
The location of the future sandbox a closer look on this picture you can see better the brambles that cover completely the wall and the elder who has taken root over the years ... (Photo taken before we could enter)

Once the specified location, we have identified and we realized that it would rebuild the small wall. After two days of work, is the result. It's not over yet of course, the rain drove us inside the house ... Brambles and elderberries have been uprooted, the small wall back from the ground level and is almost completed. We have also begun to address the bio-carbonil woodwork. The module is not permanently placed, but he held that position.

Following we started restoration of this former farm implement, a remnant from the days when our house was a farm (partial picture of the past winter)

And here today, brushed repainted and largely (not entirely fact-finished for lack of paint but it will not be long!) Given the poor condition of moving parts we are not sure of its original function. All information on this subject is welcome. This result urges us to restore the separator, the gin, the portcullis and the remaining pump égalment this time. We also had 4 wonderful wrought iron racks, but a malicious person has deprived us unfortunately ...

printannières CHECK YOUR BIKE

Bon bin spring is here, in theory should agree, and many of you are preparing to release the bike from the shed or basement for that memorable first ride season. Before doing anything at all, we must make certain checks to ensure that your trusty bike is ready to hit the road. Here is a checklist that will help you in this process:

  • CHECK TIRE PRESSURE Bedroom air, although rubber is still porous and you will lose air during the storage. Do not be alarmed, this is normal.
  • CHECK TIRE WEAR Keep an eye open for signs of wear or major balloons on the sidewall. If everything is OK and you do not have to replace a tire, rotate from front to rear. Your tires will wear evenly and last longer.
  • CHECK THE HANDLE AND THE BRAKE CALIPER There is nothing worse than getting a first ride and break the mouth because the brakes have decided to take a break union permanent! Do not pick up as decoration in the gate of a truck, make sure all the brake system operates freely. CHECK THE HOOF
  • BRAKE The shoes wear out over time and that's normal. If they seem in good condition, made the rotation of the front to the back to increase their lifespan.
  • CHECK ALL CABLES derailleurs, brakes, check them all! If you see rust or fraying on top of a cable, replace it immediately. This applies especially to the brake cables, is not fooling around with that!
  • CHECK YOUR CHAIN AND THE GREASE Done pedal chain backwards and see if mesh remain stuck. Lubricate the chain with something other than conventional motor oil or WD40 (I use automatic transmission fluid myself). If your system has many thousands of miles and demonstrates how much lateral play, it's time to replace it.
  • CHECK ALL SCREWS AND BOLTS I mean everything! Over time, each screw and unscrew bolts and you lose nothing to take a few minutes to the tensions. CLEAN YOUR BICYCLE
  • Yes, it's dirty and ugly bike dirt bike to the abyss of time. Use a polish furniture with lemon. It makes a good job and smells good too! No water to remove the bearing mechanism.
One last thing, remember that the roads are still full of small rocks, debris of any kind and the famous potholes. Be careful early in the season during this cleaning and be especially alert to the unconscious driving SUVs who are not accustomed to seeing you on the road. At the next

Does Mammals Or Reptiles Respire Faster

urgently

You simply roll for a great day when ensoileillée PAF! You have an accident or a fool you get into it and you pick up a bicycle wheel-shaped macaroni. You're away from home, no bike shop in sight and if you do not need ambulance transport, you're fucked up to walk home with your bike on the back ... MISTAKE!

There is a way to get to the house by pedaling slowly, but still pedaling. At this point, you have nothing to lose. The rim and possibly the shelves of your wheel will be replaced anyway.

Place the wheel on a hard surface. Place both feet on the high surfaces of the wheel. Jump on the wheel firmly and it should be in decent shape. Repeat if necessary. Despite the fact that this wheel is not in the best conditons, it is now usable.

Note that the wheel has not shown tire. You can do this maneuver with
tire on the wheel and even the wheel on the bike. Beware of scratches in the latter case.

Remember, the wheel is now completely débalancée and this is not the time to do a Greg Lemond downhill in the Alps. You'll definitely beat you up if you do that! Take your time and use caution when you return home. At the next
